9/11 Heroes Run
Run. Volunteer. Donate. Cheer. But most of all Honor.

Inspired by Travis' visit to Rescue Team One in New York City before his final deployment to Iraq, the Travis Manion Foundation holds 5K runs to honor September 11th. The annual 9/11 Heroes Run is held to remember, honor and support our men and women in the Armed Services, Police, Firefighter and emergency responder communities who protect and serve our country every day.
In 2011, to mark the 10th anniversary of the attacks on our country the Travis Manion Foundation hosted more than 35 races around the world. There were more than 28 races across America on 9/11 and runs on military bases in Afghanistan, Iraq, Italy, England, Guam, and on board ships in the Persian Gulf. With the assistance of 37 volunteer race directors and over 1200 volunteers - more than 45,000 runners and spectators came together to remember the sacrifices of so many.
The 9/11 Heroes Run is part of our goal to Honor the Fallen by Challenging the Living as well as our universal call to never forget the sacrifices of so many Americans who have chosen a life of service to our country.
