Our Partners
The Travis Manion Foundation is proud to partner with The Mission Continues to challenge every Mission Continues Fellow to serve their fellowship in honor of a fallen service member. Fellows are given the opportunity to choose a fallen service member that they knew personally, or they can opt to be paired with a family identified by The Travis Manion Foundation. The organizations have been intrinsically linked since Travis Manion and Eric Greitens served together in the Iraq, where Travis was killed in 2007. When Eric returned, inspired by Travis’ life of service and sacrifice, he was eager to partner with the Manion Family to honor the fallen by challenging the living.

The Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS) is a long term partner of the Travis Manion Foundation. The Manions knew of TAPS from the first days following Travis’ death in Iraq. Today the Travis Manion Foundation hosts and fully funds an annual Philadelphia TAPS Good Grief seminar for survivors. Together the organizations have provided emotional support and healing to hundreds of Families of the Fallen in the Philadelphia region. To learn more about TAPS click here.

The Travis Manion Foundation and Run To Honor strive to honor the fallen by challenging the living through running events like the Marine Corps Marathon and other race-related events across the country. Annually the two organizations share tent space and coordinate efforts during the Marine Corps Marathon each October. The Mission of Run To Honor is to honor Naval Academy Alumni lost in combat or military operations in service to our Nation.

The Travis Manion Foundation is extremely grateful to our major sponsors. The support of these amazing organizations - and their outstanding people - enable us to help more families of Fallen Heroes and veterans.

The GM Foundation has made a significant investment in the Travis Manion Foundation. With their support, we will be able to grow and expand opportunities to honor the fallen, offer 25 Character Does Matter presentations free of charge to schools and youth organizations, and fund opportunities to bring wounded and disabled veterans together to meet families of Fallen Heroes. We are grateful to the GM Foundation and General Motors Chairman and CEO Dan Akerson for their guidance, support, and encouragement of our mission.

Chevrolet is the official vehicle of the 9/11 Heroes Run. Chevy's commitment to American's veterans is strong and our partnership enables us to dramatically expand the 9/11 Heroes Run to communities across the country, growing from six race sites in 2010 to more than 35 world-wide in 2011. We're honored to have Chevrolet vehicles - and their considerable financial support - at every race site from Boston to Houston to San Diego and cities and towns in between.

The men and women at JWT have provided invaluable marketing, advertising and public relations support to the Travis Manion Foundation. Their support allows us to reach more and more Americans so we can ensure those not affected by 9/11 and the wars since understand the service and sacrifice of those who have given their all. Their support is critical to our mission.
